Logia is a term applied to collections of sayings credited to Jesus. The Greek word "logia" means "oracles, divine responses, utterances, or sayings.

Saying 6

His disciples asked him and said to him,

"Do you want us to fast? How should we pray? Should we give to charity? What diet should we observe?"

Jesus said,

"Don't lie, and don't do what you hate, because all things are disclosed before heaven. After all, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and there is nothing covered up that will remain undisclosed." .

Comments:

Jesus goes to the main part. His disciples seem to believe that their master is creating a new religion. Then they inquire about the rites and the other ways of behaving to show this new religion.

The answer of Jesus had to embarrass them.
He says to them very practical things which have nothing to do with what serves only for making of "body-building" spiritual.
All these rites serve only for reassuring the ego of the one who practises them. They giving him the illusion that he is much better than the others.

Other one is not only lower, he becomes responsible for all the troubles. He is the enemy, the unfaithful, the miserable.

The one who devotes to "God's things" with rites and " do not eat this, do not drink it, do not touch this, so dress you " etc., fools himself to him even and lies to the others.

That is why Jesus tells not to lie and to be authentic.

Anyway everything will be demonstrated one day. Then so much follow the idea of Jesus rather than that of His so-called representatives …
