“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life “ John 3/16
LET US SUMMARIZE.
God's justice required the death of the sinners whom we are, but his love could not be resolved to destroy us. He thus came Himself, in a shape of real man, similar to us, on earth, to give His man's life completed in sacrifice in our place.
So, its justice and his love were satisfied.
Jesus, on earth, it was a God with us. (Emmanuel).
He gave himself onto the cross in our place, in your place.
Now, you just have to believe in his love for you. In what He carried in our place. No good work which you could make would not be sufficient to add something to this perfect work which he carried out Itself. Try to make something to deserve your salvation would be received as an insult for God, a blasphemy. its work on the cross is completed.
DO NOT WE HAVE TO MAKE GOOD WORKS?
Yes, naturally! We make good things not to be saved, but BECAUSE we are saved.
We act in a deserving way of our repentance.
THE REPENTANCE.
To repent does not mean credit note of the regret to have badly acted. The repentance means: To regret to have offended God. The one who repents, appears in any simplicity in front of God and admits Him his faults. He speaks to God as a child who would have badly acted and who would speak about it, in all honesty, to his father.
By making this initiative, you can be insured that God will receive you favorably. He loves that a sinner recognizes his faults asks Him the strength to turn away from it.
He never rejects a person who comes to Him with this authentic attitude. Because, really, everybody knows very well that he sinned, broke God's good laws. But little really repent.
It is necessary to you to be authentic. Be true. Say the truth to God; he will hear you, will cleanse you of quite sinned and will give you the strength to lead you in a deserving way.
His forgiveness, he grants him to you without making for you of criticism. He never rejects somebody who comes to Him.
He came on this earth to save you, YOU!
