HOUSES OR COMMUNITY ?
Isn’t written that they were taking their meal in the different houses ? Acts 2/46. My answer is very simple,Biblical,logical. Do you really think that they could have been in Jérusalem a House big enough to accomodate 3000 fellows ?Of course not! So in Jerusalem as else where in the future,Christians lived together but in different community houses Where they had all things in common.
It was the case in Rome:there was a community inside of the house of Aristobule and another
one in the house of Narcisse.
There was definitly other community houses. As an example the one where Asyncrite,
Hermes,Patrobas,Hermas and the other brothers who were with them
( Romans 16/10.15)
At Corinthe there were many community houses and perhaps 40 to 50 fellows. Aquilla And Priscille were both at the head of one of those community ( I Cor 16/19 )
Futhermore we can still see Paul who has send to the Phlippians the salutations from the house of the community (Philipians 4/22).
Nymphas also had a community-home.( Colossians 4/15 )
Paul has wrotte to Philemon in the city of Colosse. Now this brocher had a Community house ( Philemon 2 )
