AN UTOPIA ?
Some of the unbeleivers say that the disciples lived together only for the du ration Of the Pentecost célébration in Jerusalem.
This interpretation of the Bible is wrong.We’ve been told that they would have to
sell their propertys in order to put everything in common.If they would have done that only for a few day,that would have demonstrated a lack of balance.
I do consider it as an insult,to déclare such a thing about our brothers and sisters of the Primitive church. The first disciples were not utopians!!They were just filled up with the faith that was Inspired from. The Apostoles while they were preaching God’s good advises.
To live in community is an idea which comes directly from the heart of God. It is Due to those who are selfish that God’s plan has not been respected.
His plan is NEVER respected by chose who are selfish.
See it as an example,what they have done about the great idea that God had had concerning the wedding .They did pervert it due to the hardeness of their heart. God had to tolerate the divorce institution.Matt19/8 But at the begining it was not as thus! Well it is exactly the same about the idea of God concerning His Church. He did want it united,made of people baptized in a divine love.
