See
revelation. Jesus-Christ.
The
true Church is built on the Rock of the revelation: who is Jesus-Christ? To
build on something else, is to build upon sand Matt 7/26. The revelation
of who Jesus-Christ is entails that we practice the Ordinances see Ordinances.
If one believes that Jesus-Christ is God come in the flesh, one does what he
says, should the fashionable religious denominations oppose that. Jesus-Christ
is the Rock; his works are perfect Deut 32/4. The Eternal is my Rock
2 Sam 22/2-3. The Stone was cut without human hands Dan 2/34-35.
The House founded on the Rock Matt 7/25. Jesus-Christ is the Stone rejected
by the clerics Acts 4/10-11. This Rock was Jesus-Christ Ex 17/6 1
Cor 10/1-4.
When
God came in the flesh on this earth, the Roman empire was ruling with an iron
fist. It embraces the whole territory between the Euphratus, the Danube, the
Rhine, the Atlantic and the grand desert of the Sahara. In 63 avant AD, Palestine
became a vassal state, when Pompeus took Jerusalem. The Jews did not like the
Romans who had yet granted them with many favors. Paul was a Roman citizen and
was fluent in Greek, the most spoken language of the time, to spread the Message
of Jesus-Christ.
Rome
is the fourth kingdom seen by Daniel. Dan 2/40. It is also the fourth
animal of the vision of Dan 7/7-13. Rome still exists as the European
Union. It is made of iron and clay. It is divided in its unity. Europe is divided
between Eastern and Western Europe. The strength of the West is mingled with
the frailty of the East. The 7 heads and the 10 horns are the 7 leading heads
of this Europe and its 10 leading nations. A mortal wound affects the leading
head and this head is Germany. Rev 13/3. This is because it is the only
nation of the world which was bearing the title of ''Holy Roman empire.'' Germany
is thus predestined to be the leading head of the European Union. The wound
it received traces back to the reformation, since the sword which hurts Germany
is the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word. Rev 13/14. Eph 6/17. Heb 4/12.
See Church, (the fifth age.)
The
fall of the Berlin wall opens the gate for the completion of the last points
of the prophecy concerning the Roman empire. The unification of Germany is the
reunification of Europe. The division tracing back to the reformation (a mortal
blow for Germany), has ended; the mortal wound is cured.
Politics
and religion go hand in hand and prosper financially together again. The whole
world admires the rapid process of unification. The victory of World catholicism
on world communism in 1989 is the completion of the prophecy which allows the
world power to put the Antichrist on the throne. See Antichrist.
We should fear no ''ism'' more than Romanism.
Let
us give to Cesar what belongs to him Matt 22/7-22. Paul is Roman
Acts 16/37-39. 22/25-29.
Letter written by the apostle Paul to the saints of Rome. See Saint. Paul answers questions about teachings which were controversial. Paul definitely sets the doctrine. Ch 1 salvation of nations. Ch 2-11 several declarations about the faith and the works of the grace. Ch 12-16 The practice of what Love, duty and sainthood really are. See Letters of Paul.
It was the capital of the Roman empire. Town located on the Tiber river Ac 18/2. 19/21. 23/11. It is the second Babylon. Rev 17/1-18 refers to the city of Rome. Vergil wrote: ''Only Rome became the marvel of the world and only within its walls we find seven hills.'' Jesus-Christ dictates the book of the revelation to John and he says the following: ''the seven heads are seven mounts on which the woman is sitting.'' This woman is the great Prostitute Rev 17/1 sitting on the many waters, this means on the people of the earth Rev 17/18. Rome rules on the kings of the earth. Horace said about Rome that the Gods had put their affection on its seven hills. Rome is truly Babylon the Great, this is what Jesus-christ says to John in Rev 17/5-6. This prostitutee has daughters. Her daughters are the religions coming from Rome. Rev 17/5-6. These religions are these groups of denominations religious Jesus-christ refers to in his letter to Laodicea. ''You are naked and you don't know it... Purchase from Me white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen.''Rev 3/17-18.
From
Rome and from the religions born in Rome we must get out, so as to humbly return
to what was experienced in Jerusalem, in the Church as described by the Holy
Bible. See angel

RUBEN. O.T.
The elder son of Jacob and Lea Gn 29/32. 37/21-22, 29. 42/22, 37. He lost his birthright because of his sin Gn 35/22. 49/3-4. It is Joseph who got the birthright because he was the first-born of Jacob'second wife, Rachel 1 Chron 5/1-2.
There
is the tribe of Ruben. In Gn 49/3 and Deut 33/6, we find records
of the blessing of this tribe.
One
of Satan's favorite works. He spreads false stories which have a basis of truth
in order to set people against one another. See Malediction.
Malicious Gossip. Homosexuality.
RUTH. O.T.
The
daughter-in-law of Naomi and Elimelec. Ruth was Moabite whereas her parents-in-law
were Jewish. Ruth was the second wife of Boaz see Boaz.
Boaz was a parent of Naomi. They had a son named Obed. Obed is the ancestor
of David and of Jesus-Christ.
The
blood of the nations is thus running in the lignage of David.
This
prefigures the entry of the nations in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Ruth denied her former gods and her old way of life in order to embrace the true faith in the only truth God Ru 1/16.
There
is a book of Ruth. Ch 1 the life of Elimelec and of his family in Moab.
After the death of their husbands, Naomi and Ruth settle in Bethlehem. Ch
2 Ruth gleans in the fields of Boaz. Ch 3 Naomi gives advice to
Ruth. Ch 4 the marriage of Ruth and Boaz. Their son Obed.
After
creating all things, God rested on the seventh day. We are summoned to do the
same. Therefore, we work six day and take a rest on the seventh. On this special
day, we honor Him in a special way. Ex 20/8-11.The community of Jesus-Christ
observed the sabbath just like the Jews. After the resurrection, Jesus' disciples,
Jews or not started to observe the first day of the week as the day of rest.
Sabbath means: Rest. We keep doing so, though we believe that the true rest
is to really manifest the faith in God, the total trust in God.
God
is resting the seventh day Gn 2/1-3. The Jews do not gather the manna
on the day of the Sabbath Ex 16/22-30. Remember the day of the sabbath
to keep it holy Ex 20/8-11. The Sabbat is a sign between God and us
Ex 31/12-17. Ezek 20/12-20. We should not buy or sell anything on that
day Neh 10/31. Turn away from you own pleasure on this day Is 58/13-14.
The Sabbat was made on account of man and not man for the sabbath Mk 2/23-28.
Jesus-Christ is the Master of the Sabbath Lk 6/1-10. Jesus-Christ teaching
and healing the day of the Sabbath Lk 13/10-14.
In the dispensation of the law of Moses, the sacrifices made the people holy. In the dispensation of the grace, the meaning of the sacrifice is to renounce what is secular to serve the Lord and his Kingdom. See Kingdom. The new converts must deny everything to follow the Lord. See Acts of the apostles. Ananias. Banner. Baptism. Christians. Church. Fields. Communion. Keys. Pyramid. Adoration.
The sacrifice is nothing compared to what God gives to those who have sacrificed Mk 10/28-30.
The
sacrifices have started immediately after the sin of Eve and Adam. This is why
we see God ask the sacrifice of an animal Gn 3/21; Then Abel and Cain
offering their sacrifice Gn 4/3-4. What God ordered since the beginning
aimed at announcing the perfect sacrifice that God would do by coming Himself
in a flesh similar to ours to die in our place.
Nowadays,
we take the bread and the wine in remembrance of the Unique and Perfect Sacrifice
that Jesus-Christ has accomplished so that we have a time for all. We take the
bread and the wine the evening during the meal, around the table as Jesus-Christ
did the first time. Before the Lord's Supper, we wash one another's feet See
Ordinances. Wash
But
this is all without value if we don't offer to God the sacrifice of a broken
heart and a contrived spirit. It is in humility, repentance and the disposition
to obey the commandments of God that we must observe these Ordinances which
are only symbols.
Abraham
sacrificing his son Gn 22/1-18. Jm 4/5. Offer holocausts Ex 20/24.
The animals of the sacrifices had to be without default Deut 15/19-21.
God takes more delight in obedience than in sacrifices 1 Sam 15/22.
Love is more than all the holocausts and all the sacrifices Mk 12/32-33.
We are sanctified by the offering of the body of Jesus-Christ Heb 10/10-14.
Small
social group of Jews, which was very powerful politically. They were very rigorous
in their way of obeying the law of Moses. They did not believe in the existence
of the spirits, of the angels and of the resurrection, and thus of the eternal
life... Mk 12/18-27. Ac 4/1-3. 23/7-8.
A
Saint is a person who has been sanctified by the Lord. It is a person who came
out of the world, in order to enter the true Church of Jesus-Christ. See
Church. ''Peter admonested the crowd, saying: 'Be saved from this
crooked generation.' Therefore those who accepted his Word were baptised; and
there were added this day about threee thousand souls.'' Acts 2/40-41.
These people were Saints, i.e. people who were in this world but no longer behaved as the people of the world. They had another way of life which was really different from that of the unbelievers. The apostles sent their letters to the saints Rm 1/7. 2 Cor 1/1. Phil 1/1. Col 1/2.
You
will be for Me a Kingdom of Sacrificators and a holy nation Ex 19/5-6. 1
Pt 2/9. The Lord orders to Israel: ''You will be holy, for I am holy''
Lev 11/44-45. They will teach my people to distinguish what is holy
and what is unholy Ez 44/23. God called the people with a calling in
itself holy 2 Tim 1/8-9. From your childhood you have had a knowledge
with the sacred writings 2 Tim 3/15. See Sanctification.
The
Saints are thus the faithful of the Church of Jesus-Christ. Saul said many bad
things to the Saints of Jerusalem Acts 9/1-21. Peter visits the Saints
who are to Lydda Acts 9/32. You share citizenship with the saints
Eph 2/19-21.

The king Melchizedek was living in the city of Salem. See Melchizedek. Salem is certainly the Town of Jerusalem. Salem means peace. Melchizedek, king of salem has bread and wine brought Gn 14/18. See Lord's supper. He was a sacrificator of the most high Heb 7/1-2.
SALT.
Not so long ago, the salt was still used as a preservative for the food. It was thus essential to the life. Jesus-Christ says that his disciples are the salt of the earth Matt 5/13 Lk 14/33.

Jesus-Christ. Plan of Redemption. Redeem. To be saved is to have one's soul
saved. Our body has not yet been redeemed Rm 8/24. When one has the
true faith about salvation, one starts to follow the Ordinances of God with
heart and one begins to serve the Lord and to help others receive this good
news of the salvation.
The
Eternal is my Light and my Salvation Ps 27/1. It is the Eternal who is

Rm 1/16. We have to work for our salvation with awe Ph 2/12.
God chosed us for salvation, by the sanctification of the Spirit and the faith
in the Truth 2 Tess 2/13.
This town was the capital of the kingdom of Israel 1 Kg 16/23-24. The city was under siege during three years 2 Kg 17/5-6. Samaria rebuilt by Herod. He gives the name of Sebaste. At the time of Jesus-Christ, God come in the flesh, Samaria was the whole centre of Palestine, west of the Jordan river. The Samaritans were partially Jewish. The religion of Samaria was a mixture of Jewish practices and of paganism. The Jews did not like the Samaritans Lk 10/25-37. But Jesus-Christ told his disciples to evangelize the Samaritans Ac 1/6-8. Philip preached there and performed many miracles in Samaria Ac 8/5-39.
SAMSON. O.T.
Samson is the twelvth judge of Israel. He possessed a force that came from God, but he lacked wisdom before a woman Jg 13/24 to 16/31.
