To
murmur is to protest about what happens to us or against the people. It is a
sin of incredulity. The disciples of Jesus-Christ don't murmur. They know that
all things work together for the best.
The people of Israel murmured against Moses Ex 15/23 and 16/3. Then, they also murmured against Jesus-Christ Jn 6/41. Paul is clear, a child of God does everything without grumbling and without doubting Phil 2/14. We have to practice hospitality toward our brothers who are of other local churches without murmuring 1 Pt 3/9.
Music
is part of the Worship of God 2 Sam 6/5. What we call the Psalms were
certainly sung on more or less rousing melodies.
The sister of Moses had a tambourine, which she used to sing and dance before God Ex 15/20. The Bible says that there were 120 sacrificators who played the trumpet in the Temple 2 Chron 5/12. Jesus-Christ sang with His disciples Matt 26/30. We are invited to sing with one another Col 3/16. See World. What is the difference between the holy music and the music of the world? All is pure for those who are pure. Titus 1/15. Now, it is obvious that our music today would not help the medieval Christians to enter into praise. It is too much differente from what they knew. Coming from the National Church of Switzerland, I was amazed that God can be praised with tunes of e military march or with tunes of with musette... But I got used to it because of the Love I have for Jesus-Christ and the respect I have for my neihjbour. Therefore, please, don't bother the young people who want to bring the rythms and sounds they like in the praise. And if you cannot enter into praise on certain musics, consider that others don't manage with the music you like. Things do not become holy just because they are 50 years old.
It
is a very tiny seed, but it gives a hight plant. Therefore Jesus compares the
mustard seed to the Kingdom of God. Matt 13/31.
With a faith as small as a mustard seed, Jesus-Christ tells us that we can move the mountains. Matt 17/20
We should never leave the people without aid. Deut 15/11. Promise to those who help Pro 28/27. To fast according to God is to help others Is 58/6-7. Whatever we do to others, we do to Jesus-Christ. Matt 25/35-40.
There
is only one mystery of God and it is Christ. Col 1/26.
Besides
this mystery which has been revealed to the disciples of Jesus-Christ, there
are no others. The mysteries which God had kept concealed have been revealed
to the twelve which unfolded them for us through their wcritings. Matt 13/11.
Lk 8/10. The true servants of God are dispensators of the mysteries of God
1 Cor 4/1. It is not because falsely-anointed have unjustly kept the
Truth hidden for centuries that God still has mysteries for His people.
Rm 1/18-25. What matters in the eyes of God is not that we have the knowledge
of all His mysteries, but that we manifest His Love. 1 Cor 13/1-3. What
a true disciple of Jesus-Christ is preaching, these are the mysteries of God
1 Cor 2/6-10. But we must admit that there are mysteries and these mysteries
exist for those who cannot know them 1 Cor 2/14.
