Mercy
is the product of a spirit of compassion, of tender kindness and which can grant
forgiveness.
The
Eternal is merciful and compassionate Ex 34/6. Deut 4/31. The
mercy of the Lord lasts forever 1 Chro 16/24. March forward, the merciful
for they will gain mercy Matt 5/7. See: Bridegroom.
Just. Wash.
To be merciful is an order Lk 6/36. Jesus-Christ will not save us because of our works, but because of his mercy. Titus 3/5.
See
Jesus-Christ. Anointed. It is
an Aramean and Hebrew word meaning ''anointed''. Jesus-Christ means Jesus-Anointed.
The word Christ is the Greek word for anointed. An anointed is a person who
has received an unction to be a prophet, king or liberator. The religious Jews
thought that the Messiah would be a king and a liberator. They believed that
the Messiah would free them from the oppression of the Romans. Then, when the
Messiah came, they did not acknowledge him. It is mainly the simple and humble
people who acknowledged Jesus as the Messiah. Isaiah had announced the coming
of the Messiah suffering for our liberation Is 53. Matt 16/16. Jn 4/25-26.
Isaiah also said that the Messiah will announce a good news and will proclaim
the freedom Is 61/1-3. Lk 4/18-21. We have found the Messiah Jn 1/41.
Jn 4/25-26.
It is a case fixed on the right hand jamb of the entrance door and other doors of the house where the Jews are dwelling or (and) the true disciples of Jesus-Christ. A true disciple of Jesus-Christ is a true Jew or, say otherwise, a true circumcised. Phil 3/3. In the Mezouza, this case, is found a scroll on which is written Deut 6/4-9, 11, 13-21.
This
comes from the Commandment of writing these texts on the poles of your house
and on the gates. When we turn the scroll, we find the divine name ''SHADDAI'',
which means ''Most-High''.
Shaddai
is also the acronym (word composed by the initials of a series of words) of
''Shomer daltot Israel'' meaning ''Keeper of the gates of Israel''.
MICAH. O.T.
A prophet coming from Moresheth, in Judea. It is during the reign of Ezekias that he propesied Micah 1/1-2. He announced the precise place where the Messiah would be born. See Messiah. In the book of Micah God recalls his goodness for his people and demands justice, humility and compassion from him Micah 6/8.
See
Adam. Gethsemane.
It was the name of Adam in his life before his incarnation on earth. Michael
is an Archangel, i.e an angel of a superior rank. Michael means ''Who is like
God?'' He comes to help Daniel Dan 10/13, 21. At the end of the times,
Michael, the great-prince who defends the people of God, will arise Dan
12/1. It is Michael who contented with the devil, disputing the body of
Moses, Jude 9. It is Michael who will fight the dragon Rev 12/7, Dan
7. It is Michael who is mentioned in 1 Tess 4/16. He must have his
voice heard just after the signal given by God, Elijah, has come, (and indeed
He came) just before the trumpet of God sounds.
It
is a period of one thousand years during which Jesus-Christ will impose Peace
on earth.
He
will impose it in the midst of those who are still living, having survived the
great tribulation. See Apocalypse.
Last Judgment. These people
will be naturally rebellious. They will have successfully gone through the great
tribulation because of their commerce and submission to the anti-Christ. Jesus-Christ
therefore, will not reign over a flock of tender sheep. At this time, Satan
will be lying in the abyss and will not seduce the nations anymore Rev 20/1-3.
But when he is unchained, he will gather around him all these rascals who will
have surrendered to Jesus-Christ during the millenium. (The rascals are the
unprinciple fellows) Whereas, by the just law, Jesus-Christ will have installed
peace during one thousand years, Ezek 2/4. And earth will become like
a Garden of Eden, Ezek 36/35, Satan will gather his people for war.
But God will destroy him and it is at this precise moment that the devil will
be forever destroyed. Rev 20/7-10.
It
is a function, a charge of minister. There are five ministries of the word.
Eph 4/11. A minister of the Lord must have been called by Him to serve.
A true minister of the Lord is formed by the Holy Spirit and equiped to serve.
A true minister of the Lord is accompanied and confirmed by the one who gave
him a mandate Mk 16/20. It is God who choses His ministers Deut
18/5. A minister of the Lord is called servant of God Is 61/6. Jesus-Christ
has showed the example Matt 20/26-28. It is Jesus-Christ who establishes
His ministers Acts 26/16-18. God forgets nothing of the services of
His ministers Heb 6/10. According to the force which God gives, one
must exercise the ministry 1 Pt 4/10-11. Here, I am not talking only
of the five ministries of the Word. But it is quite obvious that any person
born again is a servant of God.
A miracle is an extraordinary fact which takes place in the nature and which is caused by the power of God. All the people of faith are called to perform miracles in the name of the Lord Jesus-Christ. Matt 18/19. Mk 16/17-18.
No
one can perform miracles in the name of the Lord Jesus-Christ and speak evil
of Him soon after. Mk 9/39. Therefore those who perform false miracles
under the disguise of religion should not be consulted. A false miracle is always
performed in a confusion or mixture of idolatry and satanism. To speak evil
of Jesus-Christ is, for instance, say that he is not the only mediator between
God and men. This confession lowers Jesus-Christ at the rank of a simple idol.
See Mary.
A
true anointed of God can perform miracles in the name of the Lord Jesus-Chrit
Jn 14/12-14. See Messiah.
What
we do will be judged; these are our works. Those who have put their trust in
Jesus-Christ to forgive their sins and their perfect salvation will not pass
in judgment fo what concerns their salvation, for in Jesus-Christ on the cross,
they have already been judged. Jn 3/18. Those will be judged for their
reward or temporary chastisements. See Judges.

What
God asks us to do, is that our Light shines before people, so that they see
our good works Matt 5/16. He wants this from His disciples and not from
the hypocrites. He who does the will of the father will enter the Kingdom of
Heaven Matt 7/21. Faith without works is dead Jm 2/14-26. What
we do on earth is thus a missionary work. We are in mission to the Lord Jesus-Christ.
See Theom.
MOAB.
See Lot. It is a country which was located east of the Dead sea. See Dead sea.
The people who were living in Moab were descendants of Lot. There have always been wars between Israel and Moab. Judges 3/12-30. 11/17. 2 Sam 8/2. 2 Kings 3/6-27. 2 Chron 20/1-25. Is 15.
The love of money, (and not money itself) is a root of all evils. 1Tim 6/10.
It
is a State. The mortal state is the period between our birth and the moment
we physicaly die.
The
day you eat, you will die. Gn 2/16-17. And we should notice that Adam
died the day he ate. Actually, Adam lived 930 years. He thus did not reach one
thousand years. And we know that one thousand years, for God, is a day.
Ps 90/4.
The
day you die, your body returns to dust and your spirit returns to God Ecc
12/9. See Spirit. Gn 3/19.
Let not sin reign in your mortal body Rm 6/12. The body of the chosen
of God will enjoy immortality 1 Cor 15/53. See Adoption.
MOSES. O.T.
It
is a great prophet of the Old Covenant. He brought the people of God out of
Egypt where they were slaves.Through Moses God revealed his religious, social
and dietary laws, to His people.
Moses
is the author of the first five Books of the Bible. These Books are called the
Pentateuch. They are: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. He wrote
them under the dictation of God Himself (and did not need to take inspiration
in the pagan cults of Egypt to do so.)

Parents. Family.
Eve. The mothers are the women who take
part in God's plan by providing a body to the eternal spirits. In this way Eve
is the mother of all the livings as Adam says Gn 3/20. On the other
hand we know that Adam is not the father of all the living beings since Eve
had a son with the old serpent. There are thus two races on this earth. The
seed of God and the seed of the serpent. See seed
of the Serpent. Fall.
Adam. Eve.
We
must honor our mother as well as our father Ex 20/12. Eph 6/1-3. The
foolish despise their mother Pro 15/20. The order is formal: do not
despise your mother when she is old Pro 23/22. The sons and daughters
rise up with their father to give praises to the mother Pro 31/28. The
mother of Jesus-Christ was standing at the foot of the cross Jn 19/25-27.

Cain. Murder is a sin that the Bible has
always condemned Gn 4/1-12.
In
the Old-Covenant, if a man spilled the blood of another, He had to be sentenced
to death Gn 9/6 Gn 9/12-13.
Ex 21/12. Ten Commandments were given on the mount Sinai and one of them
clearly states: ''You will not kill!'' Ex 20/13. Deut 5/7. In the New-Covenant,
Jesus-Christ gives this law an ever greater dimension Mt 5/21-22. The
murderers will have their part in the second death Rev 21/8. But we
should also know that a murderer can convert as well as as a lier and be saved
Rev 21/8.
