MARTHA. N.T.

Sister of Mary and Lazarus Lk 10/38-42. Jn 11/1-46. Jn 12/2.

MARTYR.

To be a martyr is to give the highest testimony of fidelity to Jesus-Christ. The word Martyr, in Greek, means witness.

All the innocent blood since Abel to Zecchariah will witness against the wicked Matt 23/35. Lk 11/50. Whoever loses his life for Jesus' sake will gain it Mk 8/35. Stephen, first martyr Acts 7/59. Acts 20/20. Jesus sends us to be witnesses. Acts 1/8 And Paul asserts that no one can serve the Lord faithfully without being persecuted 2 Tim 3/12. It is a privilege to be put infairly among the evildoers and of the dangerous sects because of the testimony which we give to Jesus-Christ. Matt 5/11-12. See Witness.

MARY of MAGDALA. N.T.

Seven demons came our of her Lk 68/2. And she became a disciple of Jesus-Christ. She was at the cross Matt 27/56. Mk 15/40. Jn 19/25. She was sitting at the tomb of Jesus-Christ Matt 27/61. Mk 15/47. She came to the tomb on the morning of the resurrection Matt 28/1. Mk 16/1-11. Lk 24/10. Jn 20/1. Jesus-Christ appeared to her first Mk 16/9 Jn 20/14-18. She was the first preacher duly ordained by the Lord, of the good News of the resurrection. Jn 20/17.

MARY MOTHER OF JESUS-CHRIST. N.T.

She was still a virgin when the Holy Spirit covered her to become the mother of Jesus-Christ. Is 7/14. Matt 1/23.

Then, Mary married Joseph and had children from him Mk 6/3. Mary never refused her husband, Joseph. 1 Cor 7/4-6. Joseph was the husband of Mary and not an eunnuch.

The fiancee of Joseph Matt 1/18. Lk 1/27. Visit of the angel Gabriel Lk 1/26-38. Not to repudiate Mary Matt 1/18-25. Visit of her cousin Elisabeth Lk 1/36, 40-45. Song of Mary Lk 1/46-55. In Bethlehem with Joseph Lk 2/4-5. Delivery Lk 2/7. The sheperds Lk 2/16-20. At the temple Lk 2/ 21-38. The mages Matt 2/11. Flying to Egypt. Matt 2/13. Return to Nazareth Matt 2/19-23. Mary, Joseph and Jesus-Christ in Jerusalem for Passover Lk 2/41-52. Mary at the wedding of Cana Jn 2/2-5. Jesus-Christ on the cross asks John to take care of his mother Jn 19/25-27. The apostles and the brothers of Jesus-Christ join Mary and the women in the upper room for a prayer gathering they had organized. Acts 1/14.

The prophecy of Simeon concerning Mary will be fulfilled when she realizes, at the resurrection of the abominable idolatry which has been created in her name by the Great prostitute of Rome. ''... A sword will pierce through your own soul, that the secret thoughts and purposes of many hearts may be disclosed.'' Lk 2/35. As a matter of fact, the true worshippers of Jesus-Christ cannot worship his mother, or pray her. Those who worship or pray Mary show their ignorance of the Truth or show that they don't want the Truth.

Mary is not the immaculate conception. The assomption of Mary is an invention. Mary is not praying for anyone. Mary died and is waiting for the resurrection as all those who believe in Jesus-Christ who is God in the flesh and the only one to be worshipped. Jesus-Christ is the only intercessor between God and us Rm 8/26-27, 34. Heb 7/25. Mary is not a mediator between God and us. Only Jesus-Christ is mediator 1 Tim 2/5. See mediator.

When asked if we believe in Mary, we answer what we believe: ''Yes, we believe all what the Bible tells us of Mary. But we protest against whatever has been added by the theologians through the centuries for we don't want to be part of their sins Rev 18/4, nor lose our part to the tree of Life. Rev 22/18-19.''

My intention here, is not to shock you. But please admit that it is not normal to try to please the people at any cost. If you feel hurt by my writings, it is that you need a spiritual healing. I pray that you find in the Holy Bible what you need to be healed. It is time for you to chose between the God of the Bible and the God of your religion. May God help you in the time to come.

MARY MOTHER OF MARK. N.T. She is the mother of Mark, who wrote the Gospel of Mark. Acts 12/12. See Mark.

MATTHEW. N.T.

He was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus-Christ. He is the writer of the Gospel which bears his name. He was a publican, working for Rome in Capernaum. Before following Jesus-Christ, his name was Levi. His father was named Alphaeus Mk 2/14. He organized a feast to introduce Jesus-Christ to his friends Matt 9/9-13. Mk 2/14-17. Lk 5/27-32.

His Gospel is the first book of the New-Testament. He very often refers to the Old Testament. Matthew shows Jesus-Christ the Messiah, the Lion of Juda, the king and the judge announced by the prophets. The Living Being who give life to the Words which you read in the Gospel of Matthew is the lion which you find in Rev 4/7.

MATTHIAS. N.T.

The man who was chosen to replace Judas Iscariot. See Judas. Acts 1/15-26. He had followed Jesus-Christ during all his earthly ministry Acts 1/21-22.

MEDIATOR.

A mediator is an intercessor. Jesus-Christ is the only mediator between God and us.

No one comes to God except through Jesus-Christ Jn 14/6. There is only one mediator between God and men, Jesus-Christ 1 Tim 2/5. Jesus-Christ is the mediator of a more excellent Covenant than the Covenant made with Moses Heb 8/6. Heb 9/15. Heb 12/24.

MEDITATE.

To think very seriously of the Lord and of what concerns Heaven. It is often in the meditation that one receives revelations.

Isaac meditating in the evening in the fields Gn 24/69. Mary was keeping within herself all these things, and pondering them in her heart Lk 2/19. To meditate day and night about the word of God to act according to what it teaches Jos 1/8. To meditate the ordinances of God Ps 119/15. To meditate on the works of God Ps 143/5. Not to contrive against your neighbour Prov 3/29.

MEEKNESS

It is what is needed for whoever wants to surrender to the good news of Jesus-Christ.

Jesus-Christ Himself is meek Matt 11/29.

Meekness is what the Holy-Spirit produces in the life of the people in whom he comes to dwell. Gal 5/22-23. How should a servant of God behave? 2Tim 2/24-25. A meek and peaceful spirit is very precious in front of God 1Peter 3/4.

MELCHIZEDEK. O.T. N.T.

He was sovereign sacrificator, prophet and leader at the time of Abraham. He was king of Jerusalem, (of Peace, of Justice) Heb 7/1-3.

Abraham gave his tithing to Melchizedek Gen 14/18-20. Jesus-Christ is the Sovereign-Sacrificator according to the order of Melchizedek Heb 5/6.

In the book ''the Legend of Melchizedek'' tracing back to the first century AD, and found among the manuscripts of the dead Sea, we read that Melchizedek is a divine spirit opposed to Belial and to the other fallen spirits to exert the vengeance and deliver from the hand of Belial all those who are of God.

Paul was not the type to believe in legends, while he believed that Melchizedek had neither father, nor mother, that he had no genealogy see Genealogy, neither beginning of day, nor end of life, but who is made similar to the son of God...

This is not a mystery.

But it is a mystery for those who don't believe in the life before birth. For a believer who believes that his spirit has always been in God of all eternity, Melchizedek is not a mystery. It is an eternal spirit. See Spirit.

Yet, there are spirits who are fallen and God has the power to destroy them. He will do that eventually. God has the power to destroy the soul and the body in the gehen Matt 10/28. See soul. And the devil, who is a spirit, will also be cast in the lake of fire for its destruction. Rev 20/10.

We thus see that the spirits can be destroyed though they had no beginning.

Don't you understand that the children of God are divine spirits incarnated for a while on the earth?

Melchizedek was Jesus-Christ come before time.

By the way, who were the three angels coming to Abraham at the oak of Mamre? Abraham called one of them: ''Lord!'' Gn 18/27, 30, 31. And when the angel answered, it is written that it is the Eternal who spoke.

Do you see a mystery there?

Never forget that God is omnipresent. That he manifests Himself as He pleases, remember his appearance on the way of Emmaus Lk 24/13-35. Remember that he has the power to manifest at the same place in several manners at the same time Matt 3/16-17. He is God and has no limitation.

MESHACH. O.T.

He was with Daniel, Schadrach, and Abed-Nego. In the palace of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, they were Jews serving in good families.

Meshach in Hebrew is Michael. With his friends, he refused to be defiled eating and drinking the royal food. Dan 1. He was cast with his friends in an ardent furnace and saved by Jesus-Christ. Dan 3.

MIRIAM SISTER of Moses. O.T.

Sister of Moses Nb 26/59. She was to watch over her brother hidden in a basket of bulrushes Ex 2/1-8. She dansed with the women Ex 15/20-21. But she murmured against her brother, became sick and was miraculously healed Nb 12/1-15.
