Repentance
is a condition for the forgiveness of sins. But it is because Jesus-Christ paid
the price of our condemnation that forgiveness is possible. After repenting,
you should believe that God has forgiven all your sins. He said he would do
it. Therefore you can have a complete confidence. Your sins are forgiven if
you have to come to God in your repentance and with the belief that Jesus-Christ
died in your place on the cross, carrying the burden that you should have carried
because of your sins. If your sins were as scarlet, they shall be as white as
snow Is 1/16-18. This is my blood which is being poured out for many
for the forgiveness of the sins. See redemption.
Matt 26/28. Hebrews 9/22-28.
Once
you have the assurance that your sins are forgiven, you should be baptised.
See Baptism. Repent and be baptised
for the forgiveness of your sins Acts 2/38. See Keys.
Whoever believes in Him receives the forgiveness of his sins Acts 10/43.
It is in Jesus only that the forgiveness of the sins is found. Whoever calls
upon the name of the Lord will be saved Rm 10/13. There's salvation
in and through no one else; for there is no other name under heaven given among
men by which we must be saved Acts 4/12. See Jesus.
A
disciple of Jesus-Christ must simply confess his sins to the Lord who is faithful
and just. He will forgive our sins and continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness
1 Jn 1/9. It is very good that the disciples confess their sins to one
another as was done in the primitive Church which was a Community of life.
Lk 14/33 See disciples.

Freedom.
God
has given every man the impression that he can choose and act by himself. You
can eat of all the trees of the garden Gn 2/16.
But God knew very well that they would eat of the forbidden fruit. It was planned. The story of Joseph is a very beautiful example of what the non-free will is: Gn 45/3-8. Some children of God think they do what they want, whereas in reality, it is God who has prepared the works in advance so that they accomplish... Eph 2/10. See Choose.
Did
Peter have free will? Was he free or not to deny his Lord? Jn 13/38.
The
sailors who sailed have committed a sin: they believed to be the masters of
their goal (of their intentions) Acts 27/13.
When
the Truth makes us free, it is not for us to escape the control of God. It is
so that we can willingly do His Will and be free no matter what is going on,
knowing that all things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to
those who love God and who are called according to his design. Rm 8/28-30.
See Predestination.
Ever
since Jesus-Christ has liberated us, we have become obedient to his Holy Laws.
Jn 8/31-36. To be free does not mean that we do whatever we want. Freedom
is a duty before being a right. Otherwise, it is a false freedom.
He
who walks at liberty and at ease, is seeking the precepts of God Ps 119/45.
The Truth will make us free Jn 8/32. Only those who are made free from
sin have eternal life Rm 6/19-23. Where do we find the true freedom?
Where the Holy Spirit is found 2 Cor 3/17. It is for this freedom that
Jesus-Christ has liberated us Gal 5/1.

The
seer. The Writings of Gad the seer have been lost. He was a faithful friend
and a counseler of king David. One of his prophecies: 1 Sam 22/5. Another
prophecy and talks with David: 2 Sam 24/11-19. The book of the Acts
of David written by Gad has been lost 1 Chron 29/29.
See
letter of Paul. Letter of Paul to the Saints who were living in Galatia. Paul
shows that the true freedom can be found only in Jesus-Christ. Paul asserts
that he is an apostle, and clearly announces the justification by faith.
Ch
1 and 2 express his grief upon seeing the apostasy creeping in Galatia.
He asserts his position of messenger of God. See angel, apostle. The Ch
3 and 4 expound the doctrine of the true faith and of its works. The
Ch 5 and 6 talk about the results when the faith is practiced.
Region
of Northern Israel. Galilee is about 60 miles long and 30 miles wide. The main
roads to Egypt, Damascus and the east of Israel passed through Galilee. The
land is fertile there. The commerce of seafood was flourishing near the sea
of Galilee. It is in Galilee that Jesus spent most of his time. In Cana, Jesus
performed his first miracle Jn 2/11. Matt 4/23. Appearance of Jesus
after his resurrection, Mk 14/28. Jn 21/1-14. Jesus was renowned in Galilee
Lk 4/14.
The
sea of Galilee is in the north of Israel. It is also called the Lake of Genesareth
or the Lake of Tiberiad in the N.T. Jesus preached there very often, Matt
13/2. The sea of Galilee has something particular; it is 640 feet below
the level of the sea. But it is a small sea, 12 miles long and 8 miles wide.
There can be sudden and violent storms on the sea of Galilee, Lk 2/22-24.

Baptism. We believe that we have to
be baptised in the place of our ancestors who are dead and who did not hear
or misunderstood the Gospel during their lifetime. We are also baptised for
all those whom God enables us to know and who left the world of the living to
be judged by the flesh. For man can die only once, and then comes to judgment,
Heb 9/27. But this judgment is the judgment of the flesh. 1 Pt 4/6.
They must pay till the last penny in the dark side of the underworld. See underworld.
Paradise. Matt 5/21-26 talks of those who are judged and must pay till
the last penny.
In
the underworld, the Gospel is preached and those who are predestined to salvation
receive the Message of the Gospel. They can be forgiven. But they lack the ordinance
of baptism which is the condition given by Jesus-Christ, Mk 16/16. We
are thus baptised instead of the dead (as their substitute and not by procuration),
because, like the first Christians, we believe in the resurrection of the dead.
1 Cor 5/20-29. Genealogy is a science which became fashionable in these
last days. This is the will of God for His children to find the names of the
ancestors and be baptised in their place in the name of the Lord Jesus-Christ.
God takes great interest in genealogys Gn 10, 25, 46. 1 Chron chapters 1 to 9. Ez 2/61-62. Neh 7/63-64... and others. Matt 1/1-17. Lk 3/23-38.
If Paul wrote to Timothy concerning genealogies, it is because there must have been carnal people who had an unbalanced interest in them. 1 Tim 1/4.
Paul
also wrote to Titus to avoid four things:
>>1
The foolish discussions
>>2
The genealogies
>>3
The quarels
>>4
The disputes about the law.
The
carnal people are often searching for their ancestors to take pride of having
nobillity in their family.
It
is also a fact that, among people who are not very wise in the ordinary sense
(1 Cor 1/ 26), the study of genealogies may become a topic which diverts
them from the practical life and the testimony of Jesus-Christ which we have
to give to the living who are on the earth in our generation.
Baptism
for a dead is valid only for a deceased person in the underworld who accepts
the Gospel in the underworld. 1 Pt 4/6.
GENESIS. O.T.
The
word Genesis is a Greek word meaning ''origin''or ''commencement''.
The
book of Genesis is the first book of the Bible. It has been written by Moses
under the dictation of the Holy Spirit of God. It is the book of all the beginnings.
We know today from the N.T. that the Gospel of Jesus-Christ is eternal.
Rev 14/6. This Gospel has been fully revealed and manifested by Jesus-Christ.
It is contained in the N.T. But this Gospel started to be announced to Adam
in the Genesis. Therefore we see Abel offer a blood sacrifice. For this reason
too the act of Cain was an act which did not take into consideration the Will
of God revealed at this time. God rebuked the sacrifice of Cain, but received
favorably that of Abel since it had been done with faith Heb 11/4. One
can have faith only in what is preached. Rm 10/17.
The
book of Genesis is the book of all the Commencements. Revelation is the book
of the revelation of Jesus-Christ who is the Beginning and the End of everything.
Ch
1-4 The creation and the restoration of the world. Adam, Eve, the fall,
the seed of the serpent (Cain see Cain)
and the seed of God (Abel, then Seth see Abel),
and the beginning of their genealogy. Ch 5 to 10 Noah. Ch 11 to
20 Abraham until Isaac. Ch 21 to 25 the family of Isaac. Ch 36
family of Esau. Ch 37 to 50 family of Jacob until Joseph sold
by his brothers and taken to Egypt.
GENTLES . Gent, of the latin gens. Litt. race,
species.
For
the Hebrews, the non Jews, the people of the Nations.
''Gentle''
also means: friendly, indulgent. Has given the word ''Gentleman''and the family
name of: ''Genton''. (but please! Let us not be carnal ) (See genealogy...)
The
Jews should not marry the Gentles Deut 7/1-3. God will come to give
light to the Gentles Is 42/6. Pt uses the keys to open the Gate of the
Kingdom to the Gentles. Acts 10/9-48. See
keys. God grants repentance to the Gentles Acts 11/18. All have
been baptised in a single Spirit, either Jew, or Greek 1 Cor 12/13.
The Gentles share the same inheritance of Jesus-Christ through the Gospel
Eph 3/6.
GETHSEMANE. N.T.
It
is the garden in which Satan wanted to kill Jesus-Christ. It is there that Jesus-Christ
prayed for God to take away the cup which Satan was presenting to him. Jesus
had come to drink the Cup of the cross.
Satan
did not want Jesus to die on the cross, He wanted to kill him in the garden
of Gethsemane. The next day, it would have been announced that Jesus had died
of a stroke in a garden. An the whole plan of salvation would have been nullified.
Satan attacked Jesus in his body. And Jesus, dying in this garden, had no more
strength in himself to continue to fight. He therefore asked his father, in
an ultimate prayer: ''Your will be done, not mine.'' Lk 22/42,
for he was about to give in. Satan had physically attacked him, thus causing
a grave internal bleeding. This explains the drops of blood. Lk 22/44.
Jesus was dying, without strength, in the garden. But he prayed and his prayer
was answered and he was saved from death! Heb 5/7. An angel then appeared
to him from heaven to give him strength. Lk 22/43.
WHO
WAS this angel?
See
Eden. Adam died in the Garden of Eden.
Satan did not want Jesus to go to the cross to give His life for us, therefore
he gave him his cup of death in the garden of Gethsemane.
Well,
we believe that the spirits which are placed in the body are of the same nature
as the angels, (they are spirits). Once a spirit abides in a body of a man,
the man becomes a living soul. Gn 2/7.
We
also believe that the spirit which was abiding in the body of Adam was the spirit
of Michael. (the most important angel in the Jewish and Christian tradition)
As a matter of fact, to create the first man, God has undoubtedly placed in
this body the best of the spirits. Gen 2/7.
This
spirit, the spirit of Michael, had received, in his pre-mortal life, the mission
of causing the fall of the human race, the fall being the necessary step for
us to attain the salvation prepared by God before the foundation of the world.
Eph 1/4. Rev 17/8. 1 Pt 1/19-20.
Adam
is not lost. He has received what was necessary to him, in his time to be saved
and receive the eternal life. But, as far his earthly life was concerned, he
had become mortal. He died the day he consumated sin. Adam died effectively
at the age of 930 years. For God actually, a day is like 1000 years. 2 Pt
3/8...
The
spirit Michael is mentioned in Dan 10/13 and 21.
Rev
12/7 shows Michael fighting with his angels against the dragon and his angels.
This victory prepares the complete reign of Jesus on the earth.
Jude
9 tells us that it is Michael who fought Satan who wanted to take over
the dead body of Moses.
Michael
is also without doubt the one whom Daniel calls the ancient of the days. (in
other words the oldest in days.) This title cannot be given to God who is betond
time. In this context, we can see Jesus-Christ who receives the commandment
of all. He even receives the throne of chief which was occupied by Michael,
who is the ancient of the days of the earth (Adam). Dan 7/9-14. Michael
had been the first Adam. Adam had been the first to become a being, a living
soul. Jesus is the last Adam, the one who won, He became a life-giving Spirit.
He should normally receive the sovereignty. 1 Cor 15/45.
We know indeed that Jesus-Christ has received all power after his resurrection Matt 28/18.
We
also know that all things were subjected to him and he will reign till he puts
all his foes under his feet. And when all things are subjected to Jesus-Christ,
the first-born of all creation (Col 1/15-16), he will give everything
to his father.
Actually,
Michael was the prince concerning heaven and Adam had received the authority
on earth. Gn 1/26-27. (remember that it is the same spirit).
Adam
had lost the power of domination on earth giving it to Satan (who is the prince
of this world.) Jesus has come to take this power, and He has deprived Satan
of his authority. Now, when Satan exerts any authority, we should know that
it is an usurpated, illegal authority.
And
when Jesus-Christ, the son of Man, resurrects, Dan 7/13, he has received
all these powers:
>>1
those relating to heaven
>>2
those relating to the earth.
>>3
He even holds the keys of the underworld. Rev 1/18.
How come he holds the keys of the underworld? Was he not holding them before? How long has he been holding them? and how and when did he take over the keys? He went down, in the inferior regions of the earth to take them. He opened the gates, he preached inside the underworld and brought with him the spirits who were captive in there. Eph 4/9-10. The gates of the underworld do not resist the true Church of Jesus-Christ. Matt 16/18.
''I
shall build my Church. And the gates of the underworld can never hold out against
it.''
Now,
if you think that the one of great age is God, why does Dan 7/22 say:
''The one of great age who gave judgment in favour of the saints of the Most
High.''
Why
not write then: ''God gave judgment in favour of the saints''? It is written
this way in order to show to those who have eyes to see that there are indeed
two persons present. There is the Most High who is the eternal father and there
is the one of great age who is Adam, or the archangel Michael.
The
archangel referred to in 1 Tess 4/16 is Michael. It is always Michael
who has the most important tasks, directly relating to the redemption.
Adam
died in a garden, Jesus dying received strength from an angel in a garden in
order not to die there, in Gethsemane.
