It
is the collection of Holy Sciptures of the Jews and disciples of Jesus-Christ.
It is the only book which perfectly contains all the divine revelations. The
word Bible means ''book''. Those who wrote the Bible were inspired by the Holy-Spirit
2 Peter 1/21.
The
Bible of the disciples of Jesus-Christ, the Lord, contains two parts: The Old
Testament and the New Testament. Almost all the books of the O.T. are written
in Hebrew language and the books of the N.T have been written within a generation
mainly in Greek. The word 'testament' means 'covenant'. What we call the Old
Covenant is the law which God gave to Moses when the incredulous people rejected
the good news which had been given to Noah and Abraham. Gn 8/21 to 9/17.
Gn 12/ 1-3.
The
New Covenant is the Good News taught by Jesus-Christ. In the NT, we find the
four Gospels, the Acts of Apostles, the letters of Paul, the letters of James,
Peter, John, Jude and the Book of Revelation. We believe that the letter to
the Hebrews was indeed dictated by God to Paul. We believe that there are other
books (and messages) which are inspired, but none of them is like the Holy-Bible.
Provided it is well translated, we consider the Bible as the Word of God.
The
elder son had the right of inheritance. It was a birthright. Gn 25/29-34
and Heb 12/16. Jacob buys the birthright to his brother Esau. The eldersonship
placed Ephraim before Manasse, Gn 48/14-20. Joseph had the birthright
1 Chro 5/2.
This
word means ''supervisor''. He has a function of leader in the Community. It
is the Holy Spirit which appoints the bishops Acts 20/28.
To
say bad things against the Lord and the holy things.
The blasphemy against the Holy-Spirit means to reject willingly Jesus-Christ the only true God, after receiving the revelation of who He is. As long as a person feels repentance and a desire to rededicate to the Lord, it means she did not trespass the fatal line of demarcation. The devil quite often accuses the people of the church concerning the blasphemy against the Holy-Spirit. A person who has committed that sin, feels absolutely no pang of conscience. Matt 12/31-32: Mark 3/28-29. See Forgive
(The
case of Esau quoted in Heb 12/17 should not be taken as a prood tha the was
not saved. , He simply could not recover his birthright Gn 27/34.)
To
bless is to grant a divine favour to someone. It is contributing to his happiness.
A Blessing is what contributes to the prosperity in all areas of life.
God
blessed Abram Gn 12/2-3. The virtuous man is blessed Pr 10/6.
The
faithful are overwhelmed with Blessings Pro 28/20. Mal 3/10 is
the only passage of the Bible in which God tells us: ''Put me to the Test!''
in the optic of the Blessing. Whoever acts according to the Word of God is blessed.
The Beatitudes are filled with Blessings for those who willingly obey with their
heart. Matt 5/1-12.
The
blood of Jesus-Christ was divine. There was no mark of sin in the blood of Jesus-Christ
Jn 14/30. It is because he shed his divine blood that we can be purified
1 Jn 1/17.
His sweat became like clots of blood Lk 22/44. See Getsemane. Eden.
We
are sanctified by the spilling of the blood of Jesus-christ Heb 10/1-22.
BODY.
Our
body is a pure creation of God. Gn 2/7. It is the structure which, combining
with our eternal spirit, constitutes the soul, the living being. See soul. Our
body will be redeemed, made new and eternal. Rm 8/23-24.
Jesus-Christ
is resurrected with his body Luke 24/39. We should buffet our body and
subdue it 1 Cor 9/27. Our body is animal for the moment, but will be
spiritual 1 Cor 15/44. The body without soul is dead. Jm 2/26.
BOAZ
OT
Husband
of Ruth. He is the great great father of king David and the ancestor of Jesus-Christ.
Rut 4/13-17. Luke 3/32.
We
have a book of remembrance. Such books have surely always been written. It is
said that at the time of the prophet Malachi, a Book of Remembrance was written
before God Mal 3/16-17. Such a book has its value before God, for whatever
we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matt 18/18. See Baptism.
Having been anointed to deliver the captives of the underworld, we keep a Book
of Remembrance before God. On the day of the Great white throne, Books will
be open. Rev 20/12. It may be that such Books of Remembrance contribute
in determining the final judgment See
Baptism. Condemnation.
Conscience.
Dispensation. Judge.
Last Judgment.
White Throne.
It
is the book in which are written the names of those who have been predestined
to Life. Rev 20/12.
But
the Bible teaches us that certain names will be erased from this Book. They
will be erased not because God has changed His opinion meanwhile, but because
He wanted so from all eternity
Then,
it is true that the Lord will erase the sinners from his book Ex 32/33.
It is also true that those who win won't be erased from the book of life
Rev 3/5.
There
are no mysteries...
Judas
was predestined to receive the life and he received it. It is actually by the
Power of Life, by the Holy Spirit, that he could chase the demons as the other
apostles. Yet, his name has been erased from the book of life because he was
lost according to his basic nature. He was a demon, a son of the serpent like
Cain. See Judas.
It
is how we can see men and women who have truly been anointed of Life, of the
Holy Spirit, but as they are false, their name will be finally erased.
What
is a falsely-anointed?
We
must understand that this is not the unction which is false, the unction is
true, it is divine, but it is the anointed who are false.
The
Bible asserts that at the end of time, there will be many falsely-anointed.
That is false Christ. People who have received the Holy Spirit, who are anointed,
but who are basically false. They are of the seed of the devil and not of the
seed of God. Matt 24/24. Mk 13/22.
God
knows everything and He knew perfectly about Judas. Likewise he knows everything
about the whole world. To have one's name in the book of life is not enough.
Even so, one needs to be a True, an authentic child of God and not a son of
the devil. See seed of the
serpent. Cain.
fall. But this depends not on one's own willingness nor on his strenuous
exertion as in running a race, but on God's having mercy on him... Rm 9/16.
This teaching is not given in the diverse religious denominations, for their
audiences are littered with religious tourists who are not truly strong in their
faith. These truths would frigthen them. For the point here is not religion,
but life, real life, the Word of God restored.
