A translation of Mister Laurent Ladouce.

Eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus-Christ, whom you have sent. John 17/3.

To know God is much more than having a more or less clear idea, opocrr to know more or less precisely who He is. It is more than being informed about His existence and personality. It is also more than having gained an intellectual knowledge about Him. To know God is to have a personal relation with Him. It is to be in a creational relationship with Him.

The Doctrine of the Lamb leads you through the Gate to the Royal Hall of the Grace of God. Since this book has been in your hands, you have been holding the Keys which allow you to go through the Gates which have been kept locked during centuries by clerics who were interested to keep the truth unknown from the people.

AARON,  OT

Brother of Moses. Son of Amram and Jochebed, of the tribe of Levi Ex 6/16-20 Elder brother of Moses. Ex 7/7.

On God's command, he helped Moses bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. He served as his spokeman, Ex 4/10,27-31; 5/1-12/51.

Moses receives instructions about the assignment of Aaron and of his four sons at the time of the priesthood of Aaron, on the Mount Sinai. Ex 28/1-4. Urged by the people, Aaron built a golden calf, Ex 32/1-6, 21, 24, 35. He dies at the age of 123 years, on the mountain of Hor, Nb 33/38-39.

ABDIAS. OT

Prophesied the end of Edom. We ignore if he prophesied during the reign of Joram (848-844 BC) or during the Babylonian invasion in 586 BC.

His book contains only one chapter. There, Abdias talks about the fall of Edom. He also announces that liberators will climb the mount of Zion.

ABED-NEGO. O.T. Also see Daniel.

Schadrac, Meschec and Abed-Nego are three young Israelites who are taken to the palace of Nebuchadnezzar at the same time as Daniel, king of Babylon. The Hebrew name of Abed-Nego was Azariah. They refused to become impure by eating and drinking the wine of the king. Dan 1. Nebuchadnezzar threw them in the fiery furnace, but a 'Son of the Gods' protects them Dan 3/25. We know that it was the Lord Jesus Himself who was walking with them in the fire. It was a theophany, i.e.: an appearance of God, a manifestation of Christ.

ABEL. OT

First son of Adam and Eve. Gn 4/2. The first son of Eve is Cain; but Cain is not the son of Adam. Cain is the son of the serpent. (see Cain)

Abel offers to God a sacrifice of a much greater value than his twin brother Cain. Gn 4/4-5; Heb 11/4.) There was blood in AbeThe s sacrifice, and it made his sacrifice better. Heb 9/22. Abel saw through faith what was pleasing to God. Abel is assassinated by his brother Cain. Gn 4/8

ABOMINATION. See sin.

In the Holy Scriptures, whatever inspires distate or aversion in those who are justified and purified by the blood of Jesus.

Lips that lie are abhorrent to Yahweh Pro 12/22. Pride is abominable to the eyes of the Lord as well as the wickedness and immodesty after murder and idolatry (to worship foreign Gods) and the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is the worst of abominations. See Blasphemy.

ABRAHAM. OT

Son of Terach, born in Ur, Chaldea Gn 11/26, 31; 17/5.) Prophet with whom the Lord made eternal Covenants. See Covenant. All the nations are blessed in Abraham.

He emigrates to Haran where Terah, his father dies. Gn 11/31-32. He is called by God to go to Canaan and receive a Divine Covenant, Gn 12/1-8. He goes to Egypt, Gn 12/9-20. And settles in Hebron, Gn 13/18. He saves Lot, Gn 14/1-16. Meets Melchizedek, Gn 14/18-20. Hagar gives him his son Ismael, Gn 16/15-16. His name is changed in Abraham, Gn 17/5. Abraham and Sara receive the promise of God that they will have a son, Gn 17/15-22; 18/1-14. Sara gives him a son Isaac, Gn 21/2-3. He receives The order to sacrifice his son Isaac, Gn 22/1-18. Death and funeral of Sara, Gn 23/1-2,19. Death and funeral of Abraham, Gn 25/8-10.

The voluntary sacrifice of Isaac by his father Abraham is a type of the sacrifice similar to that of Jesus-Christ, the Son. If you have received the Holy Spirit, you are the descent of Abraham. Gal 3/27-29. Rm 9/6 - 29.

ACHAB. O.T. see also Jezebel.

One of the worst kings of the Northern kingdom, Israel. He married Jezabel, a princess of Sidon. She introduced the cult of Baal and of Astarte in Israel, (1 Kings 16/29-33. 2 Kings 3/2.) and she wanted to get rid of the prophets and of the worship of the Lord. (1 Kings 18/13.)

ACTS OF APOSTLES. .

Theophile received two books written by Luke. The first is the Gospel of Luke. Chapters 1 to 12 of the book of Acts record the great missionnary activities of the Apostles. The chapters 13 to 28 describe the missionnary work of the Apostle Paul. In this book, we become familiar with the only organization willed by God for the Church, the Community life. Acts ch 2 and 4. All other forms invented by man are not based on the scriptures and are tolerated by God. Likewise He tolerates the divorce between a married man and a woman. In the beginning, it was not like this. Matt 19/8.

ADAM. O.T. see also Eve.

Adam is the earthly name of a son of God, of the first incarnated siprit. See Spirit. Michael. But he is not the father of all mankind. Adam is not The father of Cain. Cain has his own offspring. Gn 4/ 17-24. Adam has his own offspring. Gn 4/25 to 5/32. Cain is a son of the serpent. The name of Cain does not appear in the genealogy of Jesus which we find in Matthew 1/1 to 17, or in Luke 3/23 to 38. 1Chron 1/1 does not mention him either. He is not recognized as the son of Adam. On the other hand, the Bible says he was of the Devil. 1Jn 3/12.

Adam transgressed the law of God in the garden of Eden Gn 3. He caused the fall and became mortal. Mortality is an indispensable step for the progress of the sons of God. The fact that he sinned did not deprive him of his nature of son of God. Adam and Eve transgressed the law of God in the garden, but it was part of the redemptive plan of God. We should not stain the reputation of Adam, or of Eve. In order to become our Savior, God needed us to be lost.

God created man in His Image (He intended to create him in his resemblance, but created him in His Image only. Through our life of faith and dedication, we become the resemblance of God 2 Peter 1/ 5-8.) He gives man the dominon over everything and orders him to subdue and fill the earth. God had to be the father of all. Adam had Eve with God. Then, the serpent enticed Eve, had an affair with her. God reduced the human being to the level of animals. Ever since, humans have reproduced like animals. But God does not give up His divine plan. He prepares a Bride for an eternity without the devil, without sin. We should note that God ''had'' Eve with Adam and that Mary ''had'' Jesus with God. And it is through a spiritual relation that Jesus could have children; (born again children.) Jn 3/3-8.

God put Adam in the garden of Eden and forbids him from consumating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Gn 2/7-9. Adam gives a name to all the living beings. Gn 2/19-20. Adam, after having consumated, became like God concerning the knowledge of good and evil. Gn 3/22. Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden of Eden. Gn 3. Adam was 930 years when he died. Gn 5/5. It is never said that he is the father of all the living. On the other hand, it is written that Eve is the mother of all the living. All the living have Eve as a mother, but some have the serpent (the devil) as a father
